Filled her up and off we went.
From Carlisle up into Dumfries & Galloway.
Faultless drive, almost deserted roads and every car we were behind either pulled out of the TVR lane or there was a good clean overtake.
Little kids pointed and waved, teenage yobbos shouted "cool car mate" and old people gave the thumbs up.
Makes every hiccup worthwhile.
Such as amazing car and it is such a buzz being able to plant the loud pedal firmly down on some great roads.

Got to loves days like that !!
I set out to blow the cobwebs away at about 10 am yesterday morning, planning a quick 20 minute trip as I had things to do.
5 hours later I got home, a nice round trip from Caerleon via Usk, Abergavenny, Builth, Hereford then onto the compulsory drive over The Brecon Beacons, stopped off for a coffee at 'Super Bites' had a chat with the owner about his Supercharged NSX then headed back home
Sometimes it just has to be done.

first thing in the morning followed by another 2 hour trip over to friends in Kent in the afternoon, looking forward to the first proper run out for a long time.Still loving it.
Don't use it anywhere enough which i suppose makes it that bit more special when i do.
If it's been i while i still get butterflies for the first few miles!
The butterflies go but the smile remains all journey!
No major plans for it.
Wanted the union jack bonnet badge but not sure thats all going ahead now.
Expensive week though. Tax, insurance and service.
