I have sent the engine off to have some work done to it. One of the things that it’s having done is the bottom end bearing linings. But can anyone tell me if when refitting the stretch bolts do you use the standard ones or do I need up rated ones! Looking for around 500bhp and 400-440torque.
If I do need up rated bolts can anyone suggest where I can get them off the shelf?

Hi Nicksy , i used ARP head bolts to replace std ones might be worth giving them a shout to see if they do any for the bottom end , also might be worth giving mountune a shout to see if they do anything . Simon

Arp will have something but you may need to order them as individual bolts which is expensive. That said your original ones should be fine.
