E39 Agean 2003 Sat nav problem

Hi there

I have a Agean 5series which I use to run around in. Its has the full satnav/tv kit/phone kit in it.

Sometimes the display flickers as if the main unit is rebooting and then may just go blank, then other times is seems to kick in another more low res display with limited functions, just radio and phone.

Has anyone had the same issue? or know why a second system seems to kick in?

I had the issue of the screen going blank.

Turned out to the an issue caused by the Traffic Master loom going into the Sat Nav interface.

The solution was to rip out all of the YM gubbins. Now works fine.
