F355 De-cat Tubi & De-cat Capristo video

Jonty and i took the opportunity today to take a comparison video of both our exhaust systems. Both cars are decated, Jontys car has a Tubi style system and mine has a Capristo.
Its rare getting two F355s together with the two different exhaust systems. So heres the result. The first 8 seconds of the video is the Yellow Tubi equipped car, the next 8 seconds is the Red capristo equipped car. Then we rev out together.
We did do a twin fly by but due to technical (camera)problems that did not go to plan. But there will be other times
I personally think that the Tubi has the best sound at tick over and low revs. The Capristo has it in the higher regions of the range. Both systems sound great in there unique individual ways, this will give you some idea of the sound ranges.

good video, cant afford either exhaust, let alone the car, but my choice would be:

The Tubi appeals more as a car I'd want to drive on the road, the other sounds more race car-ish, sounds as if it revs up quicker.

You'll have to keep dreaming I'm afraid because I capristo'd 355 will struggle to get past the track day noise limits.

Any idea which level exhausts they are?? Just I run decat and a level 3 Tubi on my car and I'd say it's a mix of the two from watching the video, low end like your tubi but hi end a slightly deeper Capristo?

My Capristo is level one. To be fair i have never heard a Tubi of any level sound as high as the Capristo. All the different levels do is increase the noise levels. But the different unique characteristics of bot Tubi and Capristo remains the same, this does not change.
The only units that sound higher pitched than the Capristo are the Japanese units.

My 2 favourite pics from today!





When on the go (at steady cruising speed) the Tubi is actually louder and has slightly more of a howl to it. The Capristo was relatively quiet, then when you get past the 5,000rpm mark the Capristo really gets loud and screaches.

I like my Tubi, its great for that nice Ferrari noise without revving. But I like that FerrariSpiders Capristo as when you do rev it sounds immense!

I'm not sure what level my Tubi is. I didn't realise they came in levels as I bought it second hand.

Awesome vids - thanks for coming yesterday guys. Chaz I have a great vid which is about 3 seconds long of you revving the 355 in the car park - it sounded epic! Hope to see you at the next one and thanks again.
