Hi - I have an 07 Specialneeds Stumpjumper Expert full suss. It has DT Swiss rims (DT Swiss 430's). I have broken another spoke on the rear wheel. Last time it happened the servicing guy told me that I had 'frozen nipples' and that I would really need to replace rather than fix the wheel(s) next time.
I have had a quick look on ebay etc and am confused re what to buy etc.... I was happy with the current wheels but am happy to try another brand etc
Any recommendations or advice welcome!
I have a Trek 6700SLR that has botanger (sp?) wheels on it that I could just borrow I guess.

Spesh wheels are notorious for their snapping spokes (normally ends up in a wheel re-build), how much do you have/want to spend on new hoops?

Hope Hoops.

Great reliable wheels and made in the UK as well.

Two sets here, and never had a problem.

Should I not just get another set of DT Swiss rims, keep the existing hubs and get my bike man to add new spokes?
I havent really got a budget but engine is being worked on the cerb (as well as the rest of it) , house is being refurbished/gutted, going skiing soon, new interior on Disco, wife has handbag addiction etc... So should spend as little as poss!

Well, re-build will be around £40-£50 (new spokes/rebuild charge), you should be able to pick up a 2nd hand pair from fleabay for not much more. or have a look at merlins offerings..

no reason why not to be honest, give the hubs a service and the (new) wheels will be fine.
