Had my first go at Rally photography at the Sunseeker rally this weekend, any comments/praise/criticism would be much appreciated.

Im no expert, but i think they're top stuff!

number 10 is just brilliant! composition, depth of field, the blur on the wheels- all just perfect. how did you not get run over?

number 9 is fantastic too - its nice how youve got the cameraman behind (i want his job)

edited because i keep thinking of things to say!

yes

10 is a fantastic shot, you should be properly proud of that one.
9 also nicely taken
first set pretty good also - 4 and 5 in particular. 1 is quite interesting - I do like it, but being very 2-D I'm not sure if it's nicely taken or if it lacks something. And 3 would have been perfect if the car had been in-focus.

Talking of the first set - how much did the replacement filter set you back?!? wink

Love those shots!

Must get out more to things like this.

Do you keep an eye on any websites for events?

Agreed #10 is fantastic, I also like #5. #14 is one of those 'almost great' shots IMO - pity about the sign at the bottom, personally I think I'd go for a tighter crop and a touch more contrast to accentuate the stones but that might just be me.

hehe

The gravel looks low-flying enough for easy avoidance. wink

I came close to needing one last year, fortunately only the mud hit the camera and the stones hit my face instead...
