New owner in the house

Always loved Griffs. Amongst the prettiest cars ever made IMO, with a proper cylinder count etc.

Decided to pull the trigger recently and after a lot of help from a PHer am now the proud owner of a 500.

Picked it up yesterday. 300 miles so far. Not enough to have figured out the heater controls, but definitely enough to know to that Bridgestones need more warming up than on my other cars!

Lovely car. Other half thinks it's stunning too, which whilst not essential always helps.

Hello and welcome

I still haven't worked out the heater controls on mine yet. I have only just found the manual vent under the steering column after driving aroung for 2 months with cold feet.

I agree with you on the Bridgestones, I have never personally got on with Bridgestone tyres so I have changed mine to Toyo Proxes T1-Rs all round.

Have you got any pictures?

Manual vent was found already. Not sure my feet were much warmer though

I'll try and get some decent pictures up in the next week or so (am off next weekend so will be spending some quality time with the car ).

It is a beautiful sunny day here in Suffolk, with all the salt washed off the roads yesterday, so decided to take the Griff out and...you forget how much fun and just how quick the car is!

Welcome. Had mine 7 years and still haven't figured out the heater controls. The fan is OK got that one. There is another that gets cold if turned to red, hot if turned to green, and two more .... ?
