I fancy taking my 156 v6 down to Croft for one of their track days.

Its the closest circuit to me and I did a driving experience there last year so I know the track (if only )!

But the noise limit of 88db static at 3/4 revs doesnt sound much at all.

Anyone care to comment? Thanks

My Z4MC was 86db @ 6000rpm there last year - but of course that doesn't tell you what your's will be. However if you've not modified the exhaust you should be fine.

My completely std '93 BMW 320i was 87db at Snetterton and it was the joint quietest of the day.

88 does sound pretty low.

I think this is one of the events they can run without it counting towards their allocated number of noisy days.

Noisy days are usually 105db now I think - but just not often enough cry

Blimey don't have your mobile on you when they do the measurement, one phone call and you'd be banned; yes it is a very low figure btw............

I think that I may go down for the April event as a spectator to see what the event is like.

If I ask nicely maybe they will to see what my db is.

You can watch all the elctric cars gliding past.

We went to Goodwood last week, and the only car under 90db was a Toyota Supra (something daft like 83db).
