I neither have the money or the space to really get involved in motor sport but having seen the post earlier which is asking for someone I realise there are other ways of doing it.

I'm in North Herts and would be keen to help out with a localish team. I have some degree of mechanical ability and am very good in the IT area, but am keen and would generally be a handy person to have around I suspect. I wouldn't be expecting payment either. I'd ideally like to be involved in something older rather than ford fiestas etc.

Anyone out there need something like this?

your best bet would be to get to a local circuit on a test or a race day and just ask people. bear in mind its pretty stressful at a race so choose your time and driver with a bit of care but i am surer you will find someone who needs a spare hand.

Although your a bit of a distance away from us, we could always do with a spare pair of hands at meetings etc. and seeing as most of the tracks are South of Birmingham we could always give you a shout nearer the time if wanted?

We race Sports 2000 cars which date back to the 80's but which are veryquick/competitive and are really easy to learn the basics on.

I will be competing in the SRGT and CSCC this year in a Ginetta G4. Any help gratefully received, as long as you can promise wheel nuts are done up properly: www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4acwTj4shA

Oh, based in Milton Keynes as well so not too far from you.

Cheers, Paul
