Inspiration needed, pics of cobra hardtop fixings please

Hi Guys

Iam about to start on a Hardtop project for my Dax Rush. Allready have the mould which i bought of a german guy, who never got further that actually casting the thing. Therefore iam currently trying to figure out how to fix it to the rear of the car and to the windscreen.

I have a pretty good idea of what iam going to do at the back, iam probably going to use 4 latches like these:

But for the front iam a bit lost. So i figured that a Cobra with a hardtop is somewhat a similar design with a flat windscreen. So if you have or could take some detail pics of how the hardtop is attatched here, i would really really appreciate it.

I've wondered about this a lot, as I fancied producing such a hardtop as part of my business. I decided that the easiest way would be to get good sealing and manage the door apertures would be to incorporate the windscreen into the hardtop permanently, so that when the hardtop was removed the windscreen would come with it, and either another screen fitted to the now open car, or not bothered with at all.

I've not taken it any further though due to the differences in sizes one gets between the many different makes and model of that type of car.

This is how far the guy i bought the mould off got:






I will probably take a different aproach to stiffening the hardtop. Am thinking of some steel plates moulded into the top at vital places, and maybe also make it a bit thicker. Iam open for suggestions on this. Iam not too bothered on the weight of this. It is mostly a looks kind of thing, and for longer touring trips.

And finally this is a photoshop i did of my own car with the top on.
I had initially bought some fibreglass doors like those, but got ripped off by the seller.
Iam now trying to source a set of aluminium doors from a german manufacturer of Rush Sevens
