What's with all that uber speed glitch that happened last night & then couldn't get another game. Have we been infected with something?

Seen this a few times now, really annoying.

Rod and I played a whole game of it on wasteland and both felt exceptionally sick afterwards!!!

I think I'd gone by then. Still, cheers for the invite - enjoyed playing with a crowd who actually attempt to work as a team.

Managed to get into another game after the skidrow speed debacle eventually.

Weird glitch in that it seems to effect everyone so I can't see how an advantage can be gained.

The guy you thought who was doing the glitching didn't even win.

eta: it appears from a bit of googling that this is an actual hack rather than a glitch. not sure if that makes any difference but general feeling seems to be someone is infected with it, hosts a game and then leaves, whoever gets chosen as the new host then becomes "infected" and so it gets passed along.

No idea how much truth is in any of this.

I'm sure I read it's something to do with hacked consoles. I'm not sure what the point of it is, unless someone is getting an obvious advantage from it.

Yeah I've noticed this, it's insanely fast and completely uncontrolable.

Slightly off topic but I keep getting game invites from you guys and accepting but can't seem to join the lobby? Abit odd as a I playu with a few of my friends and never have this issue.

Open, Moderate or Strict??

If it's anything other than Open then you'll need to open ports on your router.

I managed to get stuck in last night speedathon, inside a fire escape. Ran out of ammo and couldn't do a thing.

It was fun for all about 10 seconds, but I couldn't control it.

NAT settings are set to open. Oddly enough, the Forza series has always been terrible for not being able to join a Lobby but shockingly, I've had no problems whatsoever when playing Forza 3.

I'll investigate it further when I get a chance.

Having massive problems now. Not sure if it's just me or not but games keep freezing and loosing host connection and then dumping everyone me back to the menu.

Anyone else?

Thankfully the HC games after that were good.

Dan seemed to be en fuego and finished top scorer most games.
