What HD Camcorder do you guys recommend?

I am after a camcorder that films in High Def. I would like to be able to use it for in car use (So needs to handle fast images) and general use. Also would like it to be compatible with Apple. I would rather have one that records to SD card, or HDD but not to DVD. I have a budget of about £400.

If you can find one 2nd hand, you won't go far wrong with the Canon HG100 (The HF10 has the hard drive, the 100 doesn't)

They sell for about £350-400 on forums etc. Try AVForums as they pop up from there from time to time, as well as ebay.
