Rare 1970s Maserati spotted?
Discussion
On the way home from the NW breakfast meet on Saturday, i saw what i thought to be a Citroen SM come up behind me, a white one - but it passed and was a Maserati.
Just had a look at Wikipedia and nothing obvious on there.
However, google has since revealed that Citroen did a car called the SM Maserati - however, some called it the Quattroporte II.
Anyone any further info?
Someone may know the owner perhaps - he pulled into Charnock Richard services on the M6 Southbound near Preston, approx 12.30pm on Saturday.

To many the Citroen SM was a Maserati. Maserati was owned by Citroen and the car has a Maserati engine. Maybe someone had done a bit of "badge engineering"Just had a look at Wikipedia and nothing obvious on there.
