What to ask for range rover classic?
Discussion
I am shortly due to return to work after a long period off with various maladies.
As a result, I am in the position where i have got to sell my beloved ranger classic- work is 60 odd miles form home, and i need something more economical.
Can anyone offer me an idea of what price to put on it?
Its a 93 vogue 3.9 petrol, 90k, full history, great condition, full leathers and electrics and so on. Still got the handbook and the 2 sets of keys and the like.
The only one i found anything like it was 109k with velour not leather, and that was up for 4k.
What is a realistic price do you think?
Mods: not a plug, just want an opinion before i post an ad in the correct place

I bought my 94 LSE with leather and lpg for 1850 and sold it few months later to a fella from work for 1750, becuase i wanted to buy my defender.
i'd say between 2-4k would be a good range to start with
LSE,s always go for less than the standard wheel base. Clean classics are starting to command high money now. It would be nice to see some pics. Could give a price from that. To sell i would choose one of the specialist mags like "classic and sports car". Classics turn up in there on a regular basis, and the mint ones are soon snapped up.i'd say between 2-4k would be a good range to start with

Its really going to be down to condition & advertising it in the right place so that the cognicenti get to see it.
If it really is immaculate, see if Graham Hunt in Kensington is interested
True. There are plenty of ropey Classics around for cheap money. But finding a really nice one is a tall order. Thats why really nice ones command a premium. If it really is immaculate, see if Graham Hunt in Kensington is interested
Thats about the best i can do for now im afraid,
Not the best photos ever, but only had chance for a quick jet wash this morning, and didnt dry it off, so it looks somewhat patchy.
Hope that will give you the general idea though, i can happily post more after the weekend, when it has a proper wash, clean, polish etc
Yours is almost exactly the same as mine in terms of spec/mileage/condition (judging by the pictures)
Were I selling mine, I'd put it up for £2500 and hope to get a little over £2000.
There seems to be two price levels for RRCs. The absolutely perfect ones go for crazy money (£7000-£10000) and then there's the rest, which go for anything from £500 - £3000. There doesn't often seem to be many which fill the middle ground between the good examples and perfect examples.
PS: Replied about your gun safe on the other thread.
