Removable seat base - 03 Tamora

The seat bases in my Tamora seem to be removable as they have velcro strips that attach the seat cushion to the main part of the seat - BUT they also seem to be glued to the seat frame by a tongue of leather which goes round the back and underneath. So I would need to unstick the tongue to remove the seat base completely. Is this usual?

Yes, TADTS ....However when the base comes out all you sit on is 2 elasticated straps, if you of......erm...heavier build you will go straight through and end up sitting on the floor

Well at least that will give you max headroom! And better than only one bit of elastic in the middle....wedgie anyone?
