I have some serious lime scale problems on some glass shower doors/panels.
I've tried lime scale remover from B&Q and various supermarket cleaning products.

Any suggestions?

Scrape off with stanley or similar knife if really bad ( but be careful not to 'nick' the glass

then use brasso wadding.

Once super clean, apply rain-ex to preserve shiny finish.

Cillit Bang, the purple coloured liquid will shift it. Don't let it spend too much time on anything chrome or it will start to damage it, as I've discovered

They are OK, as is Kilrock - very powerful stuff, emit strong fumes so plenty of ventilation.

Correct, but it's also great for cleaning glass. Try a small section to convince yourself.

WD40 is a great water dispersant, but also great for keeping brushed stainless looking great.smile

Wonder Wheels (or similar) yes the same stuff you're not supposed to use on shiny alloy wheels. It's an acid, the limescale is an alkali. Ying/yang etc. Rinse it well afterwards.

Another vote for white vinegar.

I did our scabby patio doors with white vinegar at the weekend, it's amazing how much light they now let in! White vinegar and newspaper/kitchen paper, they'll come up streak free as well!

I've found Harpic Limescale Remover to be very effective. I know it's a mainstream product, but it really does work.

Tried all sorts including Hagesan Blue, Bath Power and even half a lemon. But the best so far is similar to Wonder Wheels called Ali Shine from Autosmart.

No matter what protection I put on when the glass is spotless, it's still a bugger to shift.

Harpic lime scale remover for the toilet, obviously be VERY careful as it is designed for the bog but it will get rid of limescale in seconds/minutes!!
