Hi,

Just a small post to thank my fellow PH'ers and the words of support I received from you over the past 2 years or so (both on the forums and privately) in regard to Lady B.J.W.

Unfortunately, the treatment she was receiving for her secondary cancer was not as successful as first thought and after a very quick decline in her health at the start of the month, she passed away quietly at the Marie Curie Hospice on the 20th February. She was 36 - which is no age really.

Her funeral is on Wednesday, after that I am not quite sure what I am going to do with myself, but whatever happens the kindness I received on PH will not be forgotten.

Once again, Thankyou

I am now going to pour myself a Guinness.

BJW

Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Thirty six is far too young.

Haven't seen the history, but terrible news for you. I've either been too young, or not close enough to, the bereavements in my family so far so I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Perhaps some relief in there with the immense sadness?

Enjoy the beer, I'm sure she would approve.

Words don't work for this stuff - but that's all I have here, so I'll just tell you my thoughts are with you at the moment and along with everyone else I wish you nothing but comfort until the pain begins to settle into that special place we keep the things that really hurt.

Mate, that is such sad news. 36 is no age at all - it does make you wonder if there is a god when things like this happen.

My condolences go to you, enjoy your pint and the very best for the future

Haven't been following this I'm afraid, but would just like to say how sorry I am to see your news.

Cancer is a merciless thing and it seems incredible that we are still pretty much helpless when it happens, yet we can fly to the moon, split the atom, clone sheep and all sorts of other clever stuff.

Don't really know what else to say, except to try and always remember her smile and her laugh - they were the best times.

Very sorry for your loss.

The O/H lost her sister aged 42 last year and i lost my mum, both to cancer.

Stay strong.
