There are couple of Lambos coming up in the Coy's auction on the 11th.

Series 3 Espada
P400 Miura

Personally this Alfa Montreal is looking rather tempting...

Anyone attending?

... Miura as seen at Stratford Manor last September ...

... Espada has been knocking about for a while, no reason not to buy it though ...

... Montreals always look interesting but then, they are Alfas after all ...

I have been salivating over the Montreal!
David it was designed by Marcello Bert one or whatever his name was who also designed a kermit green car you love!!
I like the idea of having one and kermit green Muira with a yellow GT4!!
I am trying to think of reasons not to bid for that car!
Help me!
Paul

My boss at the time had a Montreal in the early 70's and I drove it a few times. Nice, quick car but boy was it noisy inside. I'm pretty sure the fuel pump or something sits right behind your ear and it's impossible to hold any sort of converstation with your passenger or even hear the radio. Got very wearing after a short time even in the days when I was a boyracer

Pretty car and went like stink (for the year) but I'd not have one

Sounds familiar - Spica mechanical fuel injection, methinks?
Engine based on the type 33 biggrin
Chassis based on the 1750 :-s
