Do any Phers in Aberdeen have a trusted MOT station?

I'm flying to Aberdeen this Friday to buy a heavily modified Skyline GTR, unfortunately it's been stored for a long time and the MOT expired, so I could either : a) drive it straight back to London for a booked MOT appointment in my trusted garage smile b) Get an MOT there and then and stay in Scotland for the weekend going to John O'Groats etc.
Of course b is much more appealing but I'd have to have it sorted in Aberdeen and I don't know any garages there so can't really risk some spanner monkey trying to rip me off.

Any links, addresses, phone numbers? PM me if for some reason you don't wanna post it.

P.S. Is it still snowy up north? smile

There are many skylines in Aberdeen and most of them are modified including the fastest one in the country belonging to Keith Cowie.

Another vote for Firstdrive Cars. Paul and his mechanics are used to dealing with unusual cars and should be able to sort you out.

Thank you guys. I will definitely give them a call.

It's a R33 GTR, unfortunately not an 8sec one frown but I hope for some 10s smile

As for the snow, do you guys think that John O'Groats will be accessible this weekend? Is it still snowing far up north?

I drove to Inverness two years ago for Christmas in a stty Kangoo without any problems, but this winter is very unpredictable so far.
