As the title really, where is the best place to get one from? Would anyone go non-official or is it a case of stumping up the asking price from apple? (Circa £100 I think...).

Thanks in advance, Arry

If you know any Uni students i believe they get quite a decent discount on Apple computers.

Do students get discount on batteries too? (I am one so if so, that may be the best option).

Thank you very much for the offer, it's not actually for me but for a friend and she needs it within 5 days...would you still be happy to do it if I could get the pn tomorrow and would you be able to do it in the time frame?

Thanks guys!

Try the Apple refurb store.
You get ~ 15 % off laptops and you get the same warranty. It comes in plain packaging. The stock varies so you have to keep looking .
I started a thread about refurbs about ~ 2 weeks ago. Did not get one bad experience posted. Some had a scratch on it, some got free bonus software.
So, I went ahead and got a MBP. Delighted with it, however, It took ~ 1 week to arrive.

Hi mate, pretty sure I have one lying around the house somewhere - its got a little chip on the edge but what more do you want for free :-)

I don't need it anymore as I have a MBP now.

Will have a look this evening and if I can find it I will PM you for your address and send it over to you.
