Email notifications

Afternoon Ted

I never get an email notification when I email someone or when I've bought from the shop. Is that likely to be your end or my end? I get notifications generally when shopping on-line etc. I'm on AOL and use McAfee firewall.

Hi Steve,

AOL causes me a number of problems for some reason. I'm not sure that's the whole story with the notification though so I will take a look.

I'm having probs with this too. My email system went down at the beginning of the month, so was bouncing everything. I assume you've got a clever dead address detection system. What do i need to do to sort it out?

Don't worry, clicked the clever reset button.

The bounce processor would flag something up your profile if it detects something. You can see that by editing your profiles.

I suspect there's something more fundamental wrong with the notification emails. I'll check it out.

Found the problem. Was rather simpler than I expected. A fix is being uploaded now...
