Ok,

Who can recommend me some good PC games, I used to love the old Deltaforce type games.

I still play Battlefield 2 online. Bloody love it. £15 for the complete box set IIRC.

I really enjoyed Supreme Commanded (it's an RTS) I am not an RTS fan myself but I really enjoyed it. Can be picked up for £6-7 quid.

I have the most recent one I think, and it is great.

Are there anymore like it around?

Counter Strike Source, original UT, and UT2004.

That should keep you busy!

Ohh, this looks good.

Reminds me of Tom Clancy Rainbox Six: Rogue Spear.
Aswell as of The Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (Terrorist Hunt)

What genres do you like?

Few FPS games:

Halflife 1+2+Expansions
Counter Strike Source
Farcry
Crysis
Doom 3
Quake 4
UT 2004 or UT3
Battlefield 2142

Objective based team shooters not strictly FPS:
Star Wars: Battlefront 2

RPG's:

Dragon Age: Origins
Mass Effect 1+2
Oblivion
Fallout 3

(Oldies but still good)
Neverwinter Nights 1+2
Baldurs Gate 1+2
KotoR 1+2
Fallout 1+2

Strategy:

Command and Conquer: The Last Decade
Star Wars: Empire at War
Worms 2 or Armageddon (3d versions sucked IMO)

Been a while since I really was still PC gaming as I have mainly gone console, though a few games bring me back to the best platform.

Those all look good.
I have been mainly a console person too but I am getting fed up with the lack of good releases on the PS3. The only ones I have really gotten into are Assasins Creed 1+2 (possibly 2 of the best games), then GTA and My newest purchase Bionic Commando. But to be honest there doesnt appear to be a lot out there.

I love the Mouse and keyboard use when playing games, The deltaforce games were brilliant, I used to spend days when I was yonger playing these, the graphics were poo but they entertained.

I think games these days try a little too hard to look good and have lost a littl bit of (now I cannot think of a word but think you know what I am getting at).

In that case Max Payne and Max Payne 2, fantastic games both of them, even though it's a 3rd person shooter smile

I play a lot of halflife 2 death match lately, found a server with some graphically and playability wise amazing maps on the DKM servers. I much prefer it to CSS as you respawn rather than waiting for antoher round to begin..

Bought and started playing the new AVP game from steam which is also pretty good, getting quite far with the Predator, find the controls a bit overly complex though and you need a 3 button + mouse to play it well..

Another vote for Max Payne. Superb fun to be had.

Mafia was decent too. Can be had for under £3 now.
