For our reception in Pangbourne later this year.. looking for a small band that get blast out some good music.
Ideally if we'd won the lottery we'd have Jools Holland..
Any recommendations? Budget friendly please

cheers Ed

All very good suggestions. Give http://www.gravityblue.co.uk/ a try too. A friend plays lead guitar for them and they are really very good.

fridaystreetmusic.com Henley based musicians, they will tailor a band to meet your needs. They do the whole thing, from a duo in a small pub, to full band in a big venue. Not sure if any of you went to the Rewind Festival but these were the guys playing between the two bars near the entrance. They'll play their own stuff, or covers, you won't be disappointed.
Ask them where they are playing next so you can check them out

Shameful self promotion here: www.myspace.com/bricksbuildhouses We'd come under the cheap bracket for sure as we're only an acoustic duo, come down the Hope & Anchor in Wokingham if you'd like to check us out!

Go and see the band playing at 'The Butler' pub in Reading on Friday 19th March.
I know the singer and can probably get you a good deal. wink

Really good sound - really impressed , but sorry but we need a bit more noise I'd say.
