Make and model?
Couple of the good camera shops do commission sales, or even tradein. Expect 15%-20% on a commission sale.

Go specialist... avoid ebay, etc
Robert White notice board.
The Flash Centre if you have one nearby have a free noticeboard
Or commission sale, try FFordes / Mifsuds / etc
Bit of a specialist piece of kit!
Email them all, they will give you a free appraisal of the likely price they can sell it for. Most run a "wanted" list as well so you may find a quick sale.
Try your local Hasselblad dealer, they may have a view.

I've just sold my D80 on ebay at the third time of trying, scammers trying to get me to post it prior to payment...
I managed to spot the scam bid this time 3 hours before the end and cancelled their bid. Luckily I have now sold it to a legit UK buyer.
If you can get a price you are happy with from one of the specialist then this has to be the most reliable route, especially for a high end product.

It's a forum with a very active marketplace. All done through member to member, so you can arrange the payment you want. I've only bought on there and it went no problem.
But you need to have been a member for 30 days and made 100 posts (not in the 'chat' areas) before you can put stuff in the classifieds. It's a forum with a very active marketplace. Perhaps there might be a PHer who's a sufficient member who would put it up for you? I haven't enough posts to do it.

(good site though)
Yep talkphotography forum is about the best ive found so far..... to buy i dont think you need a certain amount of posts but to sell you do...
Only bought some flashes from there at the moment but it was pretty painless and there doesnt seem to be scammers flooding it. I'm actually on the look out for a mid telephone at the moment and will either buy new or from there. Ebay does its job and I have no worries with it, just on the forum youve got a better process and able to chat to the seller.
theres also
www.eos-magazine-forum.com - not used that much
http://photography-on-the.net - American site but there are a number of UK members
Other than that they are great sites to view and you should join anyway.
