help lambda`s

can any one help one of my exhaust cats has melted so i have taken the opportunity to de cat
i have connected the ecu to software to find why the cat melted.
both lambda`s were reading 0v, as i had a spare set off my old tuscan i fitted these but still only 0v showing
heater wires are showing approx 6 ohms
with engine running i am getting 12v to
earth (to car chassis) but not between red and white
any suggestions ?
