Le mans in trouble ?
Discussion
Just heard that my brother in law is currently in Le Mans working his arse off trying to get the power back on.
He's a senior engineer with EDF and has been draughted down to help out, apparently its quite bad down there....a convoy headed off last night from the UK.
I told him if he gets offered any free tickets then I want first dibs on them !!!

Am I living in the right month? I could swear it was March.
I did tell him a landrover with a bucket on the back wasnt the right sort of vehicle to take to Le Mans even in march !, but apparently needs must and it will be a lot more usefull than his daily driver....The storms through France at the weekend hit the area quite badly.
Back at Le Mans today. Yes, they had it pretty bad over the weekend but nowhere near as bad as the west coast with the death count now at 53. If you came to Le Mans two years back then you'll have seen how bad it was a week or so before the race and it is like that now. I have trees down in the forest and branches everywhere with the fields doubling as lakes but overall it's fine.
