Anyone got any direct experience of replacing standard E46 M3 shocks with adjustable?

What brand?

Worthwhile for fast road?

Thanks all

I went for KW V3, huge improvment over stock.

Are the above opinions based on improvements on the track, or also improvements on the road?

My car is my track toy, my fun car, my commuter and also my family wagon. Whilst I'd love to improve it for fun on the road and track, I wouldn't be very popular if we all had to brace for impact on the way to Sainsburys .... My half joking, half serious cage suggestion has already met with disapproval, however the mention of a supercharger didn't biggrin

Now this mirrors the kind of input I'm looking for, as mine is also an all rounder

I seem to remember someone on here saying Nitro stage 1 are quite good?

my AST's were softened for road use... did 60+ laps on the ring no problem and about 10+ track days.
could easily harden them up and adjust them the morning morning before with the little tool provided. never had a problem for 2+ years whilst owning them.

having them fitted to my z3m coupe very soon too.

I only use mine on the road, get my track thrills on 2 wheels. Not had any complaints from passangers about the ride quality.
The real problem is suspension is so subjective, I'd recommend getting a ride in a modified car before taking the plunge.

KW Clubsport, without a doubt! I had these on my old E46 M3, with a good set up, it's fantastic. I couldn't have had more fun whilst at Spa with it!! Add some Poly bushes in place of the rear trailing arm bushes to tighten the rear up while you're at it.
