E46 Boot not working

Hi all,

Just had a call from my wife to say she can't shut the boot on our E46 saloon, I am going to nip home in half an hour to see if there is anything I can do to fix it - any ideas what might be wrong with it? Is this a common fault?

I've got an E46 M3. Assuming it works the same as any other E46 when mine does not close properly I just use the remote boot button again and that seems to sort things out and enables me to close the boot properly.

Many thanks, exactly what I did and all is fine......and she said she'd tried that.....yeah right! Gotta love 'em!
