Swimming at Snetterton 28th March - Anyone else?
Discussion
Anybody else don the armbands and go for a paddle around Snett on Sunday?
Three cars stood out to me:
1) A rediculously fast Clio Cup Racer
2) An E-Type aquaplaning just about everywhere
3) An American muscle car, Mustang I think, floating around, tail end going at the hint of throttle!!
Good fun. Pete

I thought the OP's weather forecast was a little premature / pesamistic.
I take it that the 28th February was a bit soggy in East Anglia then? ..... I've never ever been to Snetterton when there has been nice weather. Apart from Pembrey, it is the most wind swept and miserable circuit in the UK to go to. Great fun to drive though

How silly of me. Yep - I meant Feb, doh!
Hi Rusti - Tango was there, but not his car. Wise move I think.

It was driven well given the size and suspension fitted on the car. Went for a pass on the exit of the Bomb Hole. 255/35/18 and 205/30/18 R888s with 400+ BHP do not make a good combination on a day with standing water... Good fun. Pete

I was there coaching Chris Warburton in the gunmetal SaxMax race car. We managed 105 laps altogether with a couple of high speed excurtions across the grass!! Good day though, but felt very sorry for the marshals, they must have no blood or something!!!
Best regards, Howard.
I notice you are that quick in that MR2, you are a month ahead of everyone!!!!

That was my girlfriend in the MR2, she has her first race at Snett on 14th
March. She was so vocal last year about the lines I took that we though it best to stick her in the car to see for herself!!
Good luck to Chris this year. I do like watching their racing....

On that note I guess you have never been to Knockhill!
