Got light grey cloth on the company hack and it stains like crazy, even a splash of rain leaves a mark and the car which is just over a year old looks like a 1980's banger inside. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, I experienced this on a E36.

Have a look on the detailing and bodywork forum, Someone has posted before and after pics of a light BMW interior. It shows it can be cleaned.

Ours is the same on our 320d - light grey half leather and looks appalling after a couple of skiing holidays and my son pouring a cup of coffee over the front seats...
