Their solution to copyright infringment on photographs is to effectively remove all rights to a photograph so that there is no copyright. Crazy.

All someone using a "stolen" image has to do it prove that a "suitably negligent search" had been carried out before using it without paying any royalty. How would one go about proving they hadn't? You can't.

Proves once again that nowadays Germany is more democratic than GB. The german constitutional court has just ruled that the collection of connection data for phones, e-mails and internet is illegal and all records must be deleted!

Completely agree. However, how long will it be before you and I are 'tagged' for investigation because we have written this.

Government has done more to destroy the freedoms we at one time had in this country than any 'terrorist' could ever hope or dream of. The barmy conspiracist in me wonders if the 'terrorists' were engineered by government in the first place. It isn't a huge leap is it?

Meh - dont think much will come of it. If i had a library needing wifi, id have a password protected one for when the digital man comes calling and a free one hidden for everyone to use. Whats he gonna do? Get a warrant for next door?
