The local icecream van has started up it rounds again this week, is 1st March a bit early?

Couldn't quite believe it on Monday when heard it outside. Anyone else had any sightings - would you buy an ice cream at this time of year? Does it save them money on refrigeration? Is anyone here an mobile frozen dessert emporium owner?

When they play the music, that means they've run out of ice cream.

Ice cream van owners always have big houses.

Why is that?

Our local guy (who serves real ice cream) comes round every weekend all through the year.

Quite handy when working up a sweat in the garage in November!

I thought it was only my Mum who used to say that to me hehe

Although whenever I see the word Ice Cream I think of Michael McIntyres latest DVD..

The only reason my Dad got double-glazing installed was so we couldn't hear the ice cream van.

One outside the local museum today. It was so bleeding cold I couldn't feel my fingers - it's fair to say he wasn't busy.

Bloody Ice cream van has been sat outside my sons School for the last 3 days. I encourage him to have a Screwball so as it melts I don't get the drips over my interior, or at least what there is of it, and keep the wipes handy. The amount of tantrums performed by kids on the want is quite evident as well as blind dashes made by the kids to get to front of the queue amidst the cars. Thankfully it is a cul-de-sac and not main road located School. A bit of sunshine soon brings the De-Di man out.

Our local ice cream van man stopped a while a year or two ago after being caught selling cigarettes to people under age.
