All ideas welcome but tickets to the oxo tower , kick her back doors in or nuke from orbit are not really what i had in mind lol .

Paper is the traditional 1st Anniversary present.

How about a paper from the date you got married?

I think with a 2 week old just to get out of the fking house would be the best present.

Spa day, or at least an afternoon, plus a treatment or two. She's probably still feeling drained and tired, and if you can convince her that you and Monty Jr will be OK together for a day, she'd probably love the break...particularly if you book it for a few weeks time...something to look forward to.

My cousin had the table plan from his wedding framed for his first anniversary gift to his wife.

I think we just swapped cards and a meal!

Being the helpless romantic that I am, for our first anniversary I made the wife an origami bouquet of flowers.

Took forever and I spent a fortune on fancy paper!

Also booked a fancy table just incase the flowers failed smile

Monty. This will win you lots of brownie points. She will need it (even if she denies it), and it will be good for you to spend time with the nipper.

The investment is worth it from a bloke's perspective too because she'll come back rejuvenated. Still bloody knackered of course, but she'll appreciate a break I suspect.

For my first (paper) I made loads of origami lillies out of pink paper and covered the lounge, with them with a bottle of Pink Champagne on Ice ready! Worked for me wink

So you gave your missus a picture of herself with giant ears, and nostrils like the Blackwall tunnel?

Nice work.
