Exhaust Box Internals

Has anybody got a picture of the internals of a standard exhaust box from a Griff? Mine has been "tampered with" (read removed of all contents). I became aware of this after removed the cats and it is now very loud . So I want to return the box to original and remain friendly with my neighbours

don`t have any pics handy, but its just 2 perforated tubes running the full length of the inside of the slencer and tightly packed with wadding.

if you open yours up you might be lucky and find that someone has just wraped sleeves around the perforated tubes, so you could just remove these and pack with wadding and weld the lid back on.

Thanks Clive. It's an empty box unfortunately. I just wanted to know if the perforated pipes ran straight between the inlet and outlet or if there was a "kink" in the middle (more like the ones you've created).

They are straight pipes from the inlet to the outlet.
