where is the ecu

hi where is the ecu on the car i need to connect a obd meter and check and reset the engine management light ,

yer its in the passenger footwell.... behind the false panal right at the back on the firewall.

The ECU is in the passenger footwell. There is no standard obd and if the MIL light is coming on it means that there is currently a fault somewhere. It doesnt remember and need reseting.

The software is available here http://www.tvr-cerbera.co.uk/software.html and you will need a serial cable - either 9 pin or 3 pin depending on the age of your ECU

Arda - Did you get my email?
An OBD gizmo won't reset the Engine MIL light. You need a laptop a standard serial lead fromMaplins/PC World.

i didnt get mail jensen , the thing is my ecu has 2 cables coming out of it they re like 2or 3 pins on them i m abit confuse i will take some pictures saturday nd post them im so tires i ve been sanding the car down with water my arms are killin me

Undo the cover of the ECU, right in the middle is the serial port for the ECU Diags. Have a Beer or two mate
