Hi all,
I am looking to take out a warranty on my 2004 645CI.I am looking to go with Warranty Direct and I was wondering if anyone else is with them. I would also like any comments on their service and what you think is a fair price. If anyone could also reccommend another warrenty company to consider I would be really greatful.

Thanks

Hi,

I have a 55 plate 645. For year 1 - 13 months cover was £600 for Extra Care at Franchised dealer paid over 10 months interest free. The renewal figure was £640 so you should aim for this. The trick is to get an online quote and wait a few days for them to call you up and agree a price, I think I was was originally quoted near £900.

I havent had cause to use the warranty so can't comment on the claims experience although overall this seems to be positive from what I can gather from others. The issues that I have had - failed xenon, headlamp washer jet and key weren't covered by the policy. When I received the original policy document they covered me against their network dealership rather than franchise so make sure that the policy documentation is as agreed.

Hi

I am with Warrantywise for the last 10 months and had to make one claim for £170 or so - in fact because I chose a lower laboru rate they covered £150 or so of the claim without too much fuss. For large claims I haven o idea how they would react however, so am considering going back to the BMW approved warranty (if I keep one at all).
