My Front boots will need changing in the very near Future.
I currently have SO2s all round and know i probably wont find anymore.
So my Question is will the car be Ok with O3s on the front and 02s on the rear?????? or will i need to change the lot??

Having just the same dilemma right now - was showing a prospective purchaser round the Griff today when we spotted a screw embedded in the O/S/R - still got around 4-5 mm tread left too

I'm gonna try and track down S02PPs, failing that it'll have to be the 03PPs.

You should have no problem getting SO2s, there still seems to be plenty in the system. Not everyone has / can get them but I phoned around and one of the local tyre shops got me SO2s by next day.

The Griff has been running S03 on the front and S02 on the back for a couple of years. No problems at all.

I had SO2s all the way round when I got an unrepairable puncture on one of the rears. Managed to source SO2s, but they were (more) expensive, and the general consensus was that it would be ok to put SO3s on the rear whilst keeping SO2s on the front. No problems so far!

I've been running this setup for a year (02's on the front 03's on the rear) without any probs (touch wood)

had the combination your considering on my 5.0l chim,no problems either.on my griff i had the original expedias on the back with so3's on the front,and that was fine as well.

Just to second or third all this

I seem to remember having 03s on the front of my griff, the only problem with the 03 is if you have bigger wheels/lower profile rubber as the sidewalls are less flexible and so the ride suffers. On standard wheels this is not an issue.
