L322 Sluggish Gear changes

Not sure if I am imagining things but my rangey seems to be less eager to change down and pick from a standing start.

Is this the long life oil in the trans that needs changing? Or something more painful to resolve.

If oil then any thoughts on how bigger job it woul dbe for DIY?

Transmission oil change can help. The service interval for the box is 60k on manufactures websites - BMW/LR say it never needs changing (which ties in nicely with thier warranty mileage clauses)

The box needs 9.5l for a full change with torque convertor.
