I just spotted this on the BBC website, it's footage of a test carried out for a BBC 2 program simulating the blast that would have been produced had the attempted bombing of Flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit on Christmas Day been successful.

I notice that the fuselage was not sealed and therefore not presurised.
I can't help but wonder if this would have an effect on the results.

Different aircraft type.
Hull wasn't pressurised.
