Inspired by Pie Week, per thread title.

Three or more courses, each of which must contain a pie, or pastry encased comestible.

Points may be deducted for puff pastry completely on my whim. (My thread my rules)

Extra points for inclusion of workable and tested recipes.

Go!!!!

Well at the moment you're in first place despite the shepherd's pie. nono

What is PH coming to? Years gone by we'd have had twenty entries with colour pictures by now.

:wanders off to refine bacon and egg pie starter:

Is this an improvement? I'm struggling to avoid two courses with the same pastry, particularly if I avoid puff.

Starter: Thai salmon en croute
Main: Steak and ale pie
Pud: Apple , orange and ginger suet pudding.

Warm smoked trout flan for starters
Desperate Dan cow pie cooked with a blow torch only wink so it's how I like it.
Best vanilla icecream in a yorkshire pudding "pie" drizzled with maple syrup.

By the way. I just ate 2 pies for tea with chips covered in Chinese curry sauce.

washed down with McEwans Export Scottish beer. I luv that sort of industrial crap.

Lets hope the queen never comes to tea when I get my nighthood for fine dining

"Get the devil out of here my good man".
