I've been a good girl (and if you believe that...) and stayed away from the shops for ages...oh erm apart from impulse buying the Audi!! So, I've now got some spare cash to spend on Trev and he needs a thorough servicing. I've seen Fernies advert for £235 incl VAT...surely not???? Any more details?

Trev's due for a big one!! As you know, that's £350 plus VAT. I just wondered what you get for £235 at Fernies. Any savings to be made equates to a new pair of boots for me!! But I must admit I am interested in having the rolling road test done to make sure his performance is up to scratch

Can't say I've seen the Add, I'll check it out.

But as pies says, Austec with a rolling road session tempting! OH

Had mine done in Jan at Fernies, looks like before the offer.
Ed to add
I think Fernies would only be offering a 6000 miler for that price, but as I said I ain't seen the add.

Found it here

Sounds like a look at service, as "check over" seems to come up alot no mention of replace oil filter/oil/plugs etc

But £235...you pays your money you takes your choice

Pies, is right. There is a square ad that appears within the forums pushing the winter service deal. When you click on it, it pops this up:

Well done pies,
If that's the one you saw Roz then they are hibernation checks!

They are not a service.

I had option two done in October.

I also had a 6000 service done in Jan.

And for only 'checks' I think that's not cheap.

How's about this instead, Do what I'm about to do in two hours.

1. Check it all youself (purchase anti freeze etc from Halfwits), I have some Mobil one in the boot use that to top it up and,

2.Spend £235 inc Vat on having a sports exhaust fitted at Fernies instead

Im now getting and cant wait until lunchtime for the back home. Keep those open and you'll probably hear me driving up and down the A272.
