I can only assume they are trying to come across as 'zany' and 'cool'.

Every time I see these adverts I want to ram that "CreditExpert.co.uk" made from solid gold down his throat.

Trying to make an utterly dull product seem interesting.

Same thing with the meercats and the opera singer ad. Anything finance related turns people off (I worked in the industry!)

I thought the Meerkat one was pretty good. Surely I'm not the only one?

R4 money program (I think) were saying that if you do not have any issues then do not bother more than once and only then if you really have to. The more you check, the more it affects your record apparently?
