500 window motor

What car or manufacturer is the window motor for the griff come from, Mine packed up today , pulled it apart & the brushes are F//cked, Put a new set in from a polisher at work trimmed them down all working fine,
But would like to get a new spare motor. Racing green only do a complete unit with regulator for 145,00 Any idea chaps..

Hi there,

The motor you are looking for can be found in any old Ford Orion which has power windows.
(Sierra may be the same, worth a look).

I had the same problem and sourced one from a breakers for £10.
