Car CD Changer Help

Hi I have a Sony head unit in the car, in the old car it used to recognise the Sony CD changer but now, after moving cars, it is refusing to recognise it is there at all. It still recognises the Mini Disk changer.

I've tried swapping the cables around, but to no result, and the local indy stereo place has no idea either.

Any random suggestions welcome.

What is the model number of the head unit, CD changer and Mini Disk changer?
Do you still have the manuals?

The head unit is a Sony CDX-RA650.
The CD changer is a Sony CDX 727.
I have no idea what the MD player is but its a sony too.
