Whats all the popping and banging about?

Recently fitted the RG exhaust which, whilst a little on the loud side makes the car sound how it shoud. Its also got pops and bangs by the bucket load on the overun which I also like.

I am guessing this is caused by unburnt fuel in the exhaust. My question is this going to damage my cats or shorten their life at all?

If the cats are still in and the engine's fuelling hasn't been altered I don't think this is an issue. But I'm just an Internet expert, not a real one.

They were there before you replaced the exhaust it's only that you can here it now so if it was to damage then i would of thought it would of happened by now.
I miss the sound of my old 350 Tuscan can't match it at all.
