Near-side dipped beam bulb has gone and for the life of me I can't twist the holder to change out the duff bulb.

I'm twisting reasonably hard, but I'm conscious that I don't want to break anything by overdoing it.

Am I missing something? The handbook just says 'twist to the left'...

Any tips?

There's a rubber gasket on it, which usually sticks, give it some stick.

Done!

I was trying to twist the whole thing, and not just the collar with the tabs on. (i.e. like you do with the sidelight housing)

Anyway... one pair of Halfrauds brightest now fitted and working, with no flesh or bits of engine broken in the process.

I have 2004 E46 330 and the dip beams are rubbish

main beam is great but dip beam is really poor

is this a common problem or are the lights badly adjusted or the bulbs knackered

not Xenon obviously

Sticks.

They were on mine too, so I assume it's standard.
