Spent some time at the dealership today looking one over. Have to say it is growing on me, a bit more delicate than then pictures. Still some not so nice fit and finish IMO but there you go. The dash layout is a mess, what's that plasticky triangular nonsense sticking out in the middle between driver and passenger all about? But a more interesting prospect to me personally than the 570 SL. The folding carbon sports seats were very comfortable and look great.

Official waiting time in CH is a year but dealer could get one within 8 months. Also said the Spider is coming in that period, and the 458 Scuderia will be track only apparently - they are going FXX-style with it, anybody heard similar?

I declined a test drive as the heavens have dumped more of that bloody snow, so it will have to be next week or two.

Given that Ferrari have a full order book for at least the next year in every market I cant see what the point is in them bringing in a spider in 2011. Surely they will wait till sales slow down

It's possible all the sensible sales guys were in Geneva today, and I got a brochure hander outer. Will have to talk to the DP

I spent quite a bit of time with the car yesterday in Geneva. I left feeling very disappointed, the exterior styling and interior did absolutely nothing for me. I'm sure other people may feel differently. I fear this car might be a bit marmite.

Now the new Lambo Super on the other hand...
