Too nice a morning not to have a go with the roof off for the first time. Other half's first go in it too.

Fantastic Though the weather was a lot colder than I'd anticipated when we set off and a t-shirt/jumper combo was not up to the job.

How far does/should the roof push down? Rear view was mostly full of the interior light

Wasn't sure that the roof panel was going to fit in the boot, but it obviously did fine, and isn't that much of a faff. Does take up a chunk of space though (no st sherlock, I know!).

Resorted to roof up for the next bit as OH was a bit too cold.

Then for the trip back had it in "targa" mode. Quite a lot more wind noise that way, and not sure it was a huge amount warmer.

All great though. Best time of year for fresh air. And OH absolutely loves it, and is starting to understand the "need" for a few cars

It helps to try and make a deliberate fold in the screen as you drop the roof, it tends to go down a bit more this way rather than letting it all crumple up

Hi Andy, that sounds about right for the roof. Don't try to force it, just use the 'wing' mirrors and you'll be fine. Glad you're enjoying it and managed to get the roof in the boot, I knew you would though

Did this Didn't want to damage the screen.

It's a brilliant car. Handles beautifully and obviously goes well.

And one of those cars I can't stop turning to have another look at. Looks great from all angles, roof up or down. It was lucky for me you were selling it!

Roof is easy enough (nicely made bit of kit), though the bag can be a bit of a sod.

You should undo the velcro on the sides,and pull the little flap inside, through from the inside to the outside so that the velcro doesn't stick together again.Then start to pus the roof down making sure you have a good single fold especially over the aluminium roof supports as they fold.You should then only see the upermost part of the folded roof and plenty behind you.

Yep,as you know 'our' Griff is a very good car,but if it was parked next to my old Chimaera and I had the choice of which car to use I would take the Chimaera every single time.
