Cooked from frozen and pastry wrapped I suspect you'll struggle to get it perfect. Check at 30mins would be my 'stab'. hth

I'd thaw it out then give it just as long as it takes to colour the pastry.

Hate to say it, but frozen Beef Wellington doesn't sound very nice. Happy to be proved wrong though. smile

I looked at those today when I went in to buy my cheap eggs and Shredded Wheat-a-likes.

Were they any good?

Were pretty good, to be honest i've not had beef wellington 'properly' but they tasted like I expected beef fillet and pate in a pastry case to taste!-30 minutes cooking seemed to provide rare/medium rare (still bloody) though in one or two places the steak seemed a bit tough, then again I wasn't using steak knives so can't really blame them for that. Overall a tasty dinner with a bottle of red and some roasties.

So did you thaw it or cook from frozen?
