Tamora - idle speed risen to 2k

Hi Guys

Sorry for posting this, search not working for me I am afraid.

Was out in the car yesterday, a good run and the idle speed rose to 2k, eventually dropping to 1.5k.

Has anyone come across this before and any idea why? My first thought was a damaged throttle cable as I know a few people who have had these break?

Any thoughts welcome.

Up bright and early for a Sunday, was it still like it after a few blip's, not had that with mine so no help, service maybe,

How you doing?

Only done about 1500 miles since last service and yes it maintains that speed even after blipping.

Suspect Mr Taylor will be getting a call tomorrow

Mine used to stick when the crank speed sensor was knackered. Fairly cheap fix about £70 inc fitting. Might be lucky and just need a diagnostic re-set.

Am going to check the pedal box tomo night for frayed cable and/or any stones or similar that may have got lodged there. If not that then off to Dans for a look see.
